Journeys with a smartphone

Initially a travel blog for a six-month solo trip in 2018, the book primarily serves as a more sophisticated travel album. However, its purpose extends much deeper, telling fascinating stories of people and place.

Despite taking a decent Canon and a variety of lenses, I soon discarded these for a simple, point-and-shoot iPhone 8, allowing me to get close to, and comfortable with, my subjects.

TRAVEL IS Like looking in a rear-view mirror, the present disappearing into the Past. all that’s really left are vestiges of people and place, fragments of POIGNANT memory.
